Our Technical Writer plans, coordinates, and acquires the necessary materials to write and develop product support documentation.
Job Duties
- Develop and maintain technical documents related to the setup, operation and maintenance of the print equipment manufactured.
- Acquire the necessary materials from in house and outside resources.
- Ability to interact with personnel in Sales, Service, Engineering and Shop.
- Take and download quality digital photography.
- Assemble final documentation into binders or comb-bound holders.
- Responsible for revisions and updates to current manuals as needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 5-10 years technical writing experience required, preferably within or related to printing industry.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic principles; and the devices or systems within those disciplines.
- Demonstrated skills and abilities to perform the above-mentioned tasks.

- Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Corel Print Shop Pro

Physical Requirements

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Travel to meet with clients or potential clients will be required on occasion.
