Retroflex Cavities
Retroflex cavities are designed with a greater distance between doctor blades. This gives a longer roll re-wet time and greatly reduces any chance of starvation, ghosting or pre-drying on the anilox or gravure roll.
Retroflex Fill and Drain Ports
Retroflex fill and drain ports are the largest in the industry. This allows a greater volume of process fluid to gently circulate the system resulting in far less foaming and faster cavity clean up on the machine. Larger ports allow for greater fluctuations in pump pressure, reducing the chance of system leakage. High viscosity fluids are much easier to circulate through the system.
Optional Linear Adjustment
Optional Linear Adjustment allows the operator to manually set the linear position of the blades. This feature allows for longer blade life while giving you superior position repeatability. By design, the blade will remain as set, eliminating blade to roll pressure fluctuations associated with typical air loaded blade systems. Linear position is not affected by air pressure settings or speed changes of your machine.
Optional Reduction Gearbox
An optional Reduction Gearbox is available for most systems. The gearbox replaces the standard lift lever and reduces the effort required to pivot larger systems to and from the roll.
